On January 1, 2024, a powerful earthquake struck the Noto Peninsula in Japan. This series documents the immediate aftermath and the fragile reality of daily life disrupted by the disaster. Collapsed houses, fractured land, and the quiet presence of those who remain reveal the invisible force that reshaped the region. Like a sudden “sneeze” of the earth, the quake was brief, yet its impact continues to linger.
