Syria’s landscape reflects large-scale destruction and the fragile boundary between loss and continuity following the civil war. While political shifts suggest transition, everyday life persists under conditions of uncertainty. Children’s play in ruined spaces and the return of families reveal adaptive practices where survival redefines space. This photography series witnesses the resilience of the social fabric and the physical and sociological struggle to sustain a "life experience" within a transformed geography.
