What began as a peaceful student protest against a discriminatory quota system quickly escalated into a nationwide movement demanding democracy and justice. The state responded with extreme violence, killing over 1,500 people and injuring thousands. Despite internet shutdowns, curfews, citizens took to the streets. The movement reached its peak on August 5, when millions marched towards the Prime Minister’s Hasina Office from different places This project documents the courage, anger, and resilience of the people.
