This is a story about Ukrainian farmers who work in the frontline zone in the southern part of the country, in the Kherson region. In 2022 their land was occupied by the Russian army. Many of them found themselves on the line of fire. They lost most of their equipment. When the part of the Kherson region in the right bank of the Dnipro river was liberated, farmers returned to work. However, the war is still ongoing. In 2024 and 2025, farmers faced a new threat: drones. Russian UAVs fly deep into the fields and attack not only military targets but also civilians. Some of them were killed.
