Fragments of Climate Change

  • Director
    Gil Bartz

Climate change is no longer a distant crisis but an unfolding catastrophe. Fragments of Climate Change portrays a Germany striving for climate neutrality by 2045 while facing harsh realities. Despite strong policies—coal phase-out, renewable expansion, and emissions cuts—the transition is complex, resource-intensive, and globally entangled. Record heat and rising demands for raw materials reveal the limits of “green” progress. Through fragmented images, the work captures a society confronting irreversible change and the uncomfortable truth that a sustainable future may come at significant cost
