Polar bears are among the most visible indicators of a rapidly warming climate. Their dependence on sea ice binds their fate directly to rising temperatures. Each year of thinning ice reshapes how they hunt, travel, and endure. Yet within this uncertainty, they continue to adapt with quiet determination. This work is not only about loss, but about presence—about what still exists, still struggles, still matters. To recognise that even in the most remote places, the consequences of a changing climate are already unfolding.
