This series shows extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau today. In Auschwitz 1.1 million people were killed in less than 4 years, of which 1 million were Jews. These Jews were killed just because they were Jewish. And so I feel that in a world of hate of today, there is no harm in reminding again what attrocities can be caused by hate. This photo series is intended as that reminder. The series shows the landscape of Auschwitz-Birkenau which in times seems innocent but was wittness of horible crimes. The series shows interactions of the ruins where crimes took place, and also the landscape.
