The Last Pogoni documents the emotions and daily lives of the last people inhabiting a region destined to disappear due to depopulation. In this remote borderland between Greece and Albania, shaped by migration, memory, and loss, the project explores what remains: gestures, rituals, silences. Between seasonal returns and empty villages, charmolypi,a bittersweet coexistence of joy and grief, emerges. It is an intimate inquiry into endings, resilience, and transformation.
