Every 144 years, the Maha Kumbh Mela — humanity's greatest spiritual gathering — takes place in India, the ancient cradle of dharma. In January and February 2025, over 450 million pilgrims and seekers from every corner of the world converged on Prayagraj, where the sacred Ganges, Yamuna, and the mystical Saraswati meet in a confluence revered for millennia. They came to celebrate life and existence, honour their faith, and take a purifying dip in the holy waters — enduring great hardship and sacrifice for a single, transformative moment: to emerge reborn, cleansed in body, mind, and soul.
