In July–2024, a student protest became a nationwide mass uprising, forcing Hasina’s 16-year autocratic Govt to flee & inspiring movements across Asia & around the world. Despite indiscriminate gunfire, unarmed citizens protested for 3 weeks, leaving about 2,000 dead & 20,000 injured. Countless families lost livelihoods, loved ones & generations, deeply scarring the nation. This project documents martyred, wounded, & their families, ensuring their sacrifices for democracy, humanity & a safer world are never forgotten. I captured their struggles, courage & resilience across all backgrounds.
