Janusz Russek (Poland) uses the stage name Mr.Chap. In 2023-26 he will be engaged in the Czech circus Humberto. The photographs capture the clown as the audience does not have the opportunity to see him and change their ideas and a cheerful clumsy who knows nothing but to make hundreds of people laugh. The project captures the preparations behind the scenes, life in the caravan, the joys and worries of everyday life, when a smile often does not appear on his face. In the circus, the audience is not allowed to see that he suffers from, for example, health problems or separation from his family.
