Chuño y Mote explores the contrasts of contemporary Bolivia through the body, memory, and a pluralistic lens. Intertwining feminine voices, gender fluidity, and eccentric visions, the project journeys from the wrestling rings of cholitas to the streets of La Paz. The title evokes two Andean symbols: chuño, the resilient potato representing survival, and mote, soft corn representing the tenderness of home. It is a journey through ancestral rituals and silent revolutions, where the boundaries of strength, grace, and identity constantly shift.
