I spent nearly ten minutes framing the vastness of this landfill in Mumbai, struck by the sheer scale of our consumption. It wasn't until the center of the frame shifted slightly that I realised I wasn't alone. Blending perfectly into the sun-bleached plastic and discarded fabrics was a stray, motionless and silent. In a city of twenty million people, this dog has found the only place where it won't be disturbed: right in the middle of everything we threw away.
