Clarksdale, Mississppi USA is considered the epicenter of the American Blues music scene. At the Juke Joint Music Festival I was fortunate to come across famed blues musician Little Joe McLerran and his family performing in front of the Cat Head Delta Blues Folk Art store. In the course of two days of their performances their was little to show for their efforts with the empty bucket for tips. I think the daughters reaction said it all. So truly the life of this family were living the life of the blues.
