We all come from water. Our origins are aquatic: the human species evolved from fish over millions of years. Before birth, we all drifted in the amniotic fluid of the womb. In the waters of public swimming pools, WE ARE ONE, despite but thanks to the diversity of those who gather there: kids, elders, athletes, disabled. Water is an inherently inclusive element! My gratitude goes to all those who make these places possible: coaches, lifeguards, and maintenance staff who enable our connection to this element, vital to our body and mind.
