Thousands of people continued to protest week after week for 24 consecutive months because of a deep moral outrage at the ongoing illegal occupation of Palestinian territories and the repeated war crimes committed against the Palestinian people. These protests were united in their refusal to remain silent in the face of what they saw as a humanitarian catastrophe and a gross violation of international law.
