Between Noise and Silence

  • Director
    Sara Sterpa

This project observes street life across Delhi, Jaipur and Agra, exploring how urban density shapes the presence and movement of bodies. The sequence alternates between highly compressed, chaotic scenes and moments of emptiness and suspension. Within these pauses, isolated figures and portraits emerge, interrupting the flow and creating a more direct gaze. This oscillation builds a tension between the collective and the individual, between immersion and distance. The street becomes an unstable environment, constantly shifting from saturation to openness, from opacity to clarity. Black and whit
