Since the tightening of the embargo by the USA against Cuba last January, survival in the country has become a challenge. The island has faced multiple crises, but this one could reach unprecedented levels. The population endures as best it can in the face of an uncertain future. The UN warned of a possible humanitarian “collapse” if oil supplies decrease. Meanwhile, since December, Cuba hasn't received any barrels of oil. With this series of photographs, I showcase the diverse economic, social, and structural problems of the island through Cuban street life.
