In every major city in the UK, there seems to be an unwavering army of intrepid delivery drivers, enduring sleet, snow and rain, facing constant danger day in and day out. In our fast-paced fast-food society, Riders make up the backbone of an entire industry. Yet, to some people, they don’t exist until they are stood on the doorstep. The Riders seem to be a workforce that is ever-present but in some sense invisible. It is my hope that these portraits will act as positive representations of the Riders, shedding some light on their reality and bringing them into the forefront as individuals.
