Despite prejudice, exclusion, and obstacles, many homeless women keep hope. They care for themselves and form support groups offering listening and care. Mariela, 28, from Peru, lives in a Barcelona shelter. She is persevering and optimistic. Fanny from Venezuela lived on the streets for three months and now rents an apartment with help from her daughter and social worker. Julia, 55, has been homeless since 2016 and often sleeps at El Prat Airport. This report show women united by hope, resilience, and the need for safe spaces to share and support each other.
