2025 marked the Catholic Church's 25th Ordinary Jubilee year, but Pope Bergoglio's illness and death plunged the faithful into despair. The Conclave and election of a new Pope kept Catholics glued to St. Peter's Square and the "Jubilee of Hope," opened by Pope Francis, was concluded by his successor, Leone XIV.Spending time around St. Peter’s this year, it became clear to me how strong the faith of so many people truly is and the Church as an institution and a spiritual guide remains still strong and present in he lives of countless people.Here are some of the moments I caught on camera.
